Special Offer Drawing a Hand Session

In this special one-off online art session, I'm going to draw a human hand in pencil, then ink it, and you can follow along with me as I take you through each step of the process.
I know hands have a reputation for being tricky to draw and a bit complicated, but we'll start with basic shapes, adding structure, using some classic measuring techniques like comparative and alignment for greater accuracy, placing some details, shadow mapping, and then building up layers of tone through ink mark making. All you need is paper, a pencil, an eraser, and an ink pen. You could also use a normal Biro pen for this.
